Rupee Gained Strength, Gold Prices Fell
The local unit appreciated 74 paise to 153.30 against the greenback, hitting a 21-month high
The United States Dollar (USD) slipped below 154 rupees level as the Pakistani rupee gained strength by 74 paisa in the inter-bank currency market while a declining trend in the gold price was also witnessed.
According to forex dealers, the local unit appreciated 74 paisa to bring the greenback to 153.30, hitting a 21-month high.
