Youth empowerment leads to community upliftment, Chairman Memon Leadership Forum

The Chairman, Memon Leadership Forum (East Africa Chapter), Mr Rafique Suleman received a warm welcome from dignitaries and leaders of the local Memon communities. This significant event took place on the 13th of June at the Al-Warsi Restaurant, where members gathered to celebrate the appointment of Mr. Rafique Suleman as the Chairman of the Memon Leadership Forum (East Africa Chapter).

Mr. Rafique Suleman, a visionary community leader, and prominent import-export businessman, carries a wealth of experience in the industry. He is the proprietor of R.B. International, an esteemed company operating in both Pakistan and Kenya. His expertise lies in the importation of tea and the export of rice. Over the years, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, serving as the Chairman of the Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan and the Rice Export Committee (Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce). Furthermore, Rafique Suleman alongside the MLF Global Chairman Rahim Janoo and Patron in-chief Aqeel Kareem have been influential founding members of the Memon Leadership Forum.

During the memorable MLF event held in Mombasa, Mr. Rafique Suleman unveiled his inspiring vision, encompassing various crucial areas such as healthcare, education, and welfare services for the local communities. He emphasized the importance of supporting and uplifting society at large. The event was graced by the presence of MLF East Africa Vice Chairman, Osman Varwani, who introduced and warmly welcomed the esteemed Chairman, and, two esteemed guests from Pakistan, Mr. Farhan Kothawala and Mr. Masood Gul Muhammad.

The local members of the Memon community, who have been an integral part of East Africa for more than a century, shared their sentiments and pledged wholehearted support towards Chairman Rafique Suleman’s visionary goals. The event showcased the unity and commitment of the community in working together to achieve shared objectives and make a positive impact on the region.
