Israeli families display list of 100 hostages during Cabinet meeting

Hostages families yesterday in Tel Aviv’s Shaul HaMelech Boulevard between the Kirya and Hostages Square gathered to display a comprehensive list of all 100 hostages, emphasizing that each case is humanitarian. They urged decision-makers to seize this historic moment and secure an agreement for the return of all hostages.

Addressing the gathering Ella Ben-Ami, daughter of Ohad Ben-Ami said that: “On October 7th, I lost my trust in the country, I lost my sense of security in my own home, and the only thing that can restore my trust and security is the return of all 100 hostages. I see the partial list that includes my father, but I’m still standing here because that’s not enough! We need everyone home – the living for rehabilitation and the deceased for burial.”

Sharon Kalderon, sister-in-law of Ofer Kalderon urged govt that: “For 459 days, we’ve had neither day nor night; we’re all still stuck in that cursed Saturday’s shelter. We simply want our loved ones home. We want everyone now, we’re not giving up on anyone: not the soldiers, not the young man, not the women, not the fathers, not anyone! There are people there who need to come home, there are bodies that need proper burial in their homeland, we have children here waiting for their fathers. Ofer’s children want him home, we all want them home – all 100 of them now.”

Doron Zexer, who hosted lone soldier Edan Alexander in his home said that: “The true picture of victory is 100 families reuniting and closing the circle. Seeing 100 families returning to life, getting oxygen, returning to routine, and receiving the rehabilitation they need. Until there are 100 phone calls to families saying their loved ones have returned, no one can talk about victory. True victory is everyone home. We’re all here without differences, without politics, right, left, religious – all of us with one goal. Our families were kidnapped on October 7th, and we expect the state to bring them home. Now, not tomorrow, today!”

Avivit Yablonka, sister of the late Hanan Yablonka addressed the gathering said: “Hanan returned as a body from Hamas tunnels. Returned in a bag. We don’t want our hostages to return like that; we are broken. We stand here crying out to bring them home, the living and the dead for burial. We don’t want bags; we want them in a deal. No family should receive a body bag like we did.”
