Jewish NGO removes pro terror (Hamas) Graffitis from streets of Amsterdam
Betar, the international Jewish movement with representatives on the ground in Amsterdam and France held events on Sunday in the aftermath of assault on Jews by the pro Hamas extremists in Dutch captal mid week.
Yesterday November 10, small groups of Jews walked throughout Amsterdam removing pro-Hamas graffiti and holding impromptu demonstrations. Groups assembled at Dam Square in Center Amsterdam.
On November 13 in Paris, Betar together with MEJF Paris will host Israel’s Minister of Finance, Betzalel Smotrich. There was a court hearing which was denied to cancel the gala by various organizations.
“We are outraged at what has happened in Amsterdam and the governments response. We will not be silent, and we will not be Jews who hide in Anne Frank’s attic. We are proud Zionists and have nothing to apologize for. We gather today in Amsterdam and will gather Wednesday in Paris and Thursday at the soccer game which is also being threatened by jihadis,” said Yigal Brand, CEO of World Betar.
“We call upon the Jewish community of the world to join us on the ground to show solidarity. Betar does not accept two tier policing, where our people wont be permitted to gather as pro-jihad mobs do. We have had enough and we urge the Jewish community now to stand loud, tall and proud,” added Brand.
Gideon Saar, the foreign minister of the State of Israel, and Amir Ohana, speaker of the Knesset met Saturday in Amsterdam with representatives of the Betar movement. Friday afternoon, Israel’s Consul General to LA, Israel Bachar spoke about the new fighting Jew required post-Oct 7 and November 8 at a Betar event in Los Angeles.
“From Amsterdam to Gaza, we have nothing to apologize for. We say to the world do not tell us how to handle jihad in Gaza and Lebanon as you see Jews beaten in Amsterdam and we are threatened in Paris. We stand tall as Jabotinsky followers,” said Brand. “We have nothing to apologize for. Not in Amsterdam, not in Gaza, not in Lebanon. We are done apologizing.”
