Betar US, representatives of the worldwide Jewish Betar movement issued a $10K reward for the return of the sculptures of Chaim Weizmann, former Israeli President which were stolen from the University of Manchester’s chemistry building.
“We have had enough of Palestine Action, these goons and domestic terrorists, in the UK and worldwide. We honor all Zionists and call upon those who are decent to hunt down these goons and turn over to us the sculptures. The police in the UK have been slow and hesitant to protect the Jews and face a very unsafe time throughout Europe and Betar will pay anyone who brings to our representative these busts $10K no questions asked,” said Ross Glick, Director of Betar US.
Glick added: “We will remind these Palestinians that in the last few weeks they have run from us, at UCLA, at NYU and at Cooper Union and the New School. Those who we have always heard want to “defund the police” call the police when bear Jews appear. We have had enough. “We say to our holy Jews that we are here in the spirit of Zeev Jabotinsky. Proud, fierce and tough. The police aren’t able to protect our community and we must rise up louder and do so.”
The Palestine Action Group said it had “abducted” the busts to mark Balfour Declaration of 2 November, 1917, in which British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour supported establishing a “national home for Jewish people”.
Betar will pay $10K to anyone who returns these busts to our representatives.
