The police reports said the bomb was planted in the vehicle and detonated which is evident from the closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage.
The police and bomb disposal squad (BDS) collected the evidence from the crime scene.
The victim’s body was handed over to the family after legal formalities.
The journalists’ fraternity condemned the killing of the young journalist and called it a cowardly act to suppress voices.
State actors always use the word traitor for attacking journalists, non-state actors use the word spy for them. BLA claimed the responsibility of attacking Shahid Zehri . Only cowards attack unarmed journalists with bombs and bullets. #JournalismNotACrime https://t.co/MrIoFE04ia
