Aamir Khan Eschewed Social Media After Turning 56

In an era where social media is a weapon for flacking, Indian actor with an unwonted personality, Aamir Khan quit social media nothing but a day after his 56th birthday.

“This is going to be my last post on social media. Considering that I am SO active anyway, I have decided to drop the pretence”.

The Dangal actor announced to quit social media in his last post and said that future updates will be available on handles of Aamir Khan Productions (AKP).

“We will continue to communicate as we did before. In addition, AKP has created its official channel!”, the actor stated.

The actor began his post expressing gratitude for the love and warmth shown by fans on his special day.

Aamir enjoyed a massive fan following on social media with 3.6 million Instagram followers, 26.7 million followers on Twitter, while 18 million likes on Facebook.
