Aamir Liaquat Hussain, a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member of National Assembly (MNA) and TV show host, has hit the headlines after his second divorce with Syeda Tuba Anwar and his third marriage with Syeda Dania Shah.
Aamir Liaquat Hussain expressed happiness for becoming one of the top trends on social media after marrying for the third time, regardless of how much he is being criticised by a large number of netizens.
Turning off the comments on his posts, he wrote on Twitter, “Trending in Pakistan. Aamir Liaquat is #AamirLiaquat. Some think it is over. Allah smiles and says, “Look, my servant is alive. No one can finish it unless I want to.”

In another tweet, he claimed that he is thankful to Prime Minister Imran Khan for congratulating him on his marriage.

Yesterday, just after Syeda Tuba Anwar had announced her divorce, PTI MNA and TV show host Aamir Liaquat Hussain had revealed his third marriage with Syeda Dania Shah, 18.
Netizens have flooded the social media platforms following the developments by launching harsh criticism.
Critics were of the view that the television celebrity was seemingly trying to remain alive on social media trends and a sensation via his actions.
They also criticised the media houses who hailed him as a star. Aamir Liaquat Hussain started his career as a sub-editor at a local newspaper before being employed at the leading Urdu daily Jang newspaper.
He later joined Geo News as the first newscaster before being promoted to work as news anchor of a popular religious programme Aalim Online by Geo News Editor In-chief Mir Shakilur Rehman. He was then promoted as Geo News’ president.
In his political career, Aamir Liaquat Hussain remained close to Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Founder Altaf Hussain and former military ruler Pervez Musharraf who made him the minister for religious affairs. He further gained popularity via Geo News’ Ramadan special transmission that had widely received likes and dislikes.
Syeda Tuba Anwar, 28, and Aamir Liaquat Hussain, 49, had tied the knot in 2018. The marriage came to an end after the actor Syeda Tuba Anwar made an announcement on February 9 via Instagram to ‘opt to take khula [dissolution of marriage] from court’.
The development came after Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s rumoured third marriage in 2021 following the claims of an actor and model Haniya Khan who claimed to be his wife. However, the TV host had denied the claim and clarified on Instagram that he has only one marriage, which is with Tuba.
Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s first wife, Syed Bushra Iqbal had said that she was divorced by her husband over the phone.
She revealed her ‘painful and traumatic’ experience, saying that divorcing her was one thing but doing it in front of Tuba on call at her request was perhaps the most painful and traumatic thing for her and her children. She added, “I rest my case to Allah”.
