Apart from being absent for court hearings, the Waar star Meesha Shafi has achieved her long due goal of becoming a certified yoga instructor. Meesha started yoga training 7 years ago that has completely changed her life for the better.

The feminist activist took to her Instagram handle to share the achievement of the recent target with flying colors.

Acknowledging the efforts of her instructors and family members, Meesha thanked them for showing generosity and spirit throughout the journey.

From time to time, Meesha shared some glimpses from her busy routine of practicing yoga as she had been doing some intense training during coronavirus pandemic.

Meesha thus had some goals set and she was committed to it which is endorsed by the fact that she took her yoga classes regularly but remained vanished from court hearings in Pakistan for the past three years.

Earlier in 2018, the singer had accused fellow singer Ali Zafar of harassment, and her claims were backed by female activists, most of whom were her friends.

However, she failed to appear in the court to record testimony in the defamation case filed by the fellow singer-cum-actor.

The #MeToo movement torchbearer Meesha Shafi faced another setback in April when Lahore High Court (LHC) rejected her plea of postponing the trial.
