Hum TV Network’s 8th Hum Awards ceremony was held a few days back in Toronto, Canada which was attended by a large number of showbiz personalities.
The management of the Hum Awards was already facing criticism for holding the award show even though a large part of the country was submerged in floods and now a video of the event has come out which is facing more criticism on the channel and the management of the awards.
In a video that has gone viral on Twitter, host Ahmed Ali Butt and actor Ahmed Ali Akbar can be seen recreating the unpleasant incident that took place between Hollywood superstar Will Smith and comedian Chris Rock during the Oscars 2022.

Filmmaker and founder of Civil Sisters Pakistan, Kanwal Ahmed, was not amused by the joke. She said that as a joke for a play like Parizaad (around apartheid), “Mann Kala Karwana” was an acceptable joke at an award ceremony.
