WEB DESK: Following Asif Ghafoor’s promotion to lieutenant general by the Pakistan Army, Romanian music artist Adrian Sina alias Akcent, congratulated him through a tweet.
He took this as an opportunity to troll Indian fighter pilot, Abhinandan Varthaman, once again by adding that he was hoping to enjoy “another fantastic cup of tea” with his “friend”.

Back in 2019, Akcent took to Facebook to wish Pakistan on Defence Day while simultaneously trolling India by adding “and the tea was fantastic”.
In a popular social media video Abhinandan was questioned with if he was entertained courteously, to which he replied, “The tea is fantastic.”

In the same year, Akcent posted a video to Twitter on Nov 25, 2019, where he spotted relishing a cup of tea and declares once again that “Pakistani tea is fantastic”.
The artist was seen positioned in front of a board of Pakistan’s various victories which included a picture of the captured Indian Air Force pilot Abhinandan Varthaman.

Through an announcement made by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG) Major General Babar Iftikhar, six other major generals were also promoted to the rank of lieutenant general.
Promotions in the #Army : 6 Major Generals have been promoted to the Rank of Lieutenant General. Those promoted include MG Akhtar Nawaz , MG Sardar Hassan Azhar Hayat, MG Asif Ghafoor, MG Salman Fayyaz Ghani , MG Sarfraz Ali,MG Muhammad Ali.
