Ali Zafar’s Lawyer Reminds Ali Gul Pir to Face Court Not Twitter
Ali Gul Pir was nominated in the case by the singer Ali Zafar for defaming him on social media and the court issued arrest warrant for him
A judicial magistrate of Lahore issued a non-bailable arrest warrant of comedian Ali Gul Pir in Ali Zafar’s vilification case who then took to his Twitter handle to announce that he is not going to tender an apology.
Ali Gul Pir was nominated in the case by the singer Ali Zafar for defaming him on social media and the comedian in response to the recent court order penned down a post.
“No matter how many warrants I get, I’m not apologizing for a joke I made 3 years back. I’m gona fight it”, he wrote.

Not only this, he hinted at Ali Zafar by calling him ‘K-Pop singing midlife crisis cockstar’.
The comedian was addressed by Ali Zafar’s lawyer Umer Tariq Gill who asked Ali Gul to appear in the court and explain.
“Hope you won’t hide away this time.”, Umer Tariq reminded him.

Not only this, Ali Zafar’s lawyers also elucidated that the case has been filed in court to set an example for those who thought of making someone’s life and dignity a ‘joke’.
