Celebrating Pakistan Navy Day on September 8, Television network ARY is going to present a movie titled Hangor S-131, a tale of thrilling sea encounter.
PNS Hangor, popularly known as The Shark, was a daphne class submarine built by France that served in the Pakistan Navy from 1970 to 2006.
In recognition of her service, Hangor was decorated with multiple gallantries and wartime awards and honors.
She is regarded in the Navy as having the highest number of operational gallantry awards given to a single warship of the Pakistan Navy.
The production of the movie is done under the banner of IDream Entertainment and though the cast and other details aren’t disclosed yet, the project will hold a special place in the entertainment industry.

Taking to its YouTube channel, ARY Zindagi shared the first glimpse of the movie and it got noticed by social media too.

During the Indo-Pakistani war back in December 1971, Hangor sank Indian Navy’s INS Khukri, an anti-submarine frigate, with one homing torpedo.
