Avengers or Avatar: Which Reached Zenith at Global Box Office?
James Cameron's movie regained title of the highest-grossing film from Marvel Studio as Avatar was rereleased in China
Disney confirmed that James Cameron’s Sci-fi-Adventure movie titled Avatar retained title of the highest-grossing film at the global box office from Marvel Studios Avengers: Endgame after its release.
Back in 2019, the movie Endgame secured apex position at the box office after beating Cameron’s 1997 film Titanic which topped the charts for over a decade with an estimated global collection of USD 2.194 billion.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Cameron congratulated the Marvel team and wrote that an iceberg sank real Titanic and it took Avengers to sink my Titanic.

Moreover, the American director-producer, Anthony Russo and Joseph Russo also known as Russo Brothers, posted an artwork on Instagram to wish the director for retrieving the glory at box office.

In response to it, Cameron captioned a blue heart emoticon and shared the post on his official handle.

According to sources, Avatar was rereleased in China’s theatres amid coronavirus pandemic and sales of tickets soared rapidly.
The sales added another USD 12.3 million on first two days of coming in theatres, and an estimated of USD 2.802 billion worldwide.

Apart from Avatar and Titanic, Canadian film-director, James Cameron’s other projects include several blockbusters such as The Game Changers, Battle Beyond the Stars, The Terminator, and many more.
However, nothing has been confirmed from the Marvel officials to rerelease ‘Avengers: Endgame’ in China to revitalize competition with Avatar at the box office.
Moreover, Cameron is all geared up to release sequels of Avatar in theatres soon, which was earlier postponed due to coronavirus restrictions.
