Actor-cum-producer Mahira Khan has released the trailer of her web series, Barwaan Khiladi, featuring Danyal Zafar in a lead role.
The cast of Barwaan Khiladi includes Kinza Hashmi, Mira Sethi, Saba Faisal, Shahveer Jafry, Sarmad Khoosath, Usman Peerzada and others, whereas, Fawad Khan and Shoaib Malik will give the special appearance in the upcoming web series.
The upcoming series will be released on March 5 which is directed by Adnan Sarwar, written by Shaid Dogar, produced by Mahira and Nina Kashif.
The story revolves around a boy from a rural town who dreamt of playing cricket on a national level and went through dirty politics, bias and an unjust system after being selected in the country’s biggest cricket league.

Mahira Khan also interacted with her fans on Twitter before the release of the Barwaan Khiladi trailer.
A netizen asked her regarding the existence of bias in the film industry as it is seemingly not hailing actors from different religions or cultures. The user wrote, “Mahira, do you think the industry is ready to accept some people who aren’t Muslim. Do you think if a person has talent, he/she can make it being an outsider or not the typical Pakistani film industry actor?”
To this, Mahira Khan replied, “No I don’t think it’s a bias at all. Not in my experience. I personally do wish to see more actors/technicians from other religions and cultures in our industry. In fact there are many but maybe the audiences aren’t aware of it.”
