The super duo of the film Superstar Bilal Ashraf and Mahira Khan are getting together on the TV screen for ARY’s telefilm Ek Hai Nigar, which will be a biopic on Lieutenant General Nigar Johar Khan.
In the telefilm, Mahira is playing the role of Nigar Johar opposite Bilal as the male lead.
The telefilm is a project of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) which has paid homage to Lieutenant General Nigar Johar for her services.
Nigar Johar is the first and only woman in the history of the Pakistan Army to reach the rank of lieutenant-general and the third to reach the rank of major-general.
Johar has dedicated her life to the field of medicine as a surgeon and she has been associated with the sector since 1985.
The story has been written by Umairah Ahmed and directed by Adnan Sarwar under the banner of Nina Kashif and Mahira Khan’s production company SoulFry Films.

So far, only the teaser was released on August 14, revealing the character of Nigar at Army Medical College, however, the release date isn’t announced yet.
Feeling honored to play the role of the female lieutenant, Mahira posted the first look of the project.
Interestingly, Bilal Ashraf has made both film and television debuts with actress Mahira Khan and internet users are expecting another dose of entertainment from the duo.
Recently, the actor posted an Instagram story showing that the project is still in the pre-production stage.
Previously, Mahira and Bilal’s film Superstar had received a good response from viewers, and even their chemistry at several interviews is something not to be missed.
