PSL 7: Bilal Maqsood hints at working on Quetta Gladiators anthem

Renowned guitarist and composer Bilal Maqsood has hinted at working on Quetta Gladiators official anthem with big names in an Instagram post ahead of 2022 Pakistan Super League (PSL) 7.
Bilal Maqsood wrote on Instagram with a photo, “The Gladiators are roaring to take up the PSL 7. Stay tuned!” The post was tagged to some big names who are expected to play their roles in the Quetta Gladiators’ anthem including Shahid Afridi, Ushna Shah, Adnan Siddiqui, Shiraz Malik and Zuhair Malik.

Gladiators’ fans are curious about the upcoming anthem, however, they will not have to wait for a long time as the franchise announced to release its official anthem on January 22 (Saturday) for 2022 PSL 7.

A detailed version of the story behind the shooting and direction of Gladiators anthem was already there on Zuhair Malik’s Instagram which he had posted two days ago.
Interestingly, he wrote, “To shoot this music video in 24 hours was something everyone told us was impossible, but we did it.”

However, Shah did not reveal any connection between her appearance and Gladiators anthem but some will find clues in the photos of the set posted by Creative Director Shiraz Malik on Instagram.

The first match of PSL 7 will be played on January 27 between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans. Quetta Gladiators will take on Peshawar Zalmi on January 28 at National Stadium Karachi.
