Britney Spears Defends Selection of Recent Conservator
Britney Spears attorney has branded her father a "mentioned alcoholic and gambling addict" and criticised his economic expertise in new court documents.
Mathew Rosengart turned his back on Jamie Spears after opposing the lawyer’s request to replace him as Conservative of the 39-year-old pop star Britney Spears with auditor John Zabel, insisting that the man was not “qualified” to do so to take responsibility.
In court documents extracted from the New York Post’s Page Six column, Mathew argued that John was an “award-winning, nationally recognized, and highly respected CPA with an impeccable record in positions of trust.”
It found that the prosecutor’s awards “are in stark contrast to Mr. Spears, a reported gambling addict and alcoholic with no financial background or experience in financial matters who has previously filed for bankruptcy and is currently on an injunction against domestic violence”
