Bushra Ansari counters Muneeb Butt’s comment regarding Imran Khan in TV show
Actor Bushra Ansari has countered Muneeb Farooq's comments regarding Imran Khan after he called him an 'untraditional politician'.
Actor Bushra Ansari has countered journalist and anchorperson Muneeb Farooq’s comments regarding Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan after he called him an ‘untraditional politician’.
During Tabish Hashmi’s show at Geo News ‘Hasna Mana Hai’, Muneeb Farooq said that Imran Khan’s every move is untraditional even when he was in the opposition and the in the government and later he was ousted.
He was of the view that Imran Khan’s practical steps made him an untraditional politician, unlike other people who used to act carefully and patiently. Farooq added that Khan is carrying an image of a tough man who reacts promptly if anything comes to him.

To this, Bushra Ansari said, “Whatever we see as the traditions of our politics, we cannot consider a model to discriminate the traditional or untraditional style. If we see at the past 70 to 75 years, whether they are our traditions. If we call this person [Imran Khan] an untraditional individual then who are the traditional people? Are we agreeing with the so-called traditional people and what are those traditions that have completely changed?”
Ansari’s response has made Farooq speechless.
