Showbiz celebrities including Waseem Badami, Sonya Hussyn and Ushna Shah demanded action against Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s third wife for sharing the videos on social media.
Sonya Hussyn and Waseem Badami demanded the netizens refrain from sharing anyone’s private moment videos in future.
In an Instagram video, Sonya Hussyn said that she got shocked after the death of Aamir Liaquat Hussain which is among one of the incidents that left many questions to be answered.
She expressed sorrow that some people were termed Hussain’s death as a good happening. Hussyn said that it is not acceptable to wish death for anyone who is not meeting someone’s criteria of goodness.

Sonya Hussyn also blamed society for Hussain’s death as he was facing extreme public pressure. She said that depression could be one of the root causes of an individual’s death and Hussain fell into it.
The actress also blamed the institutions, media houses and YouTubers who encouraged people for making his videos viral.
Waseem Badami also demanded action against those who have shared Hussain’s private moments’ video viral online. He admitted that Aamir Liaquat Hussain was a victim of social media.
Ushna Shah endorsed Badami’s statement, saying, “Well said. Whether we agreed with him or disagreed, we all should have stood for him when he was made a victim of revenge porn. Instead we watched, we allowed ourselves to be entertained by his downfall, his cries for help. Allah forgive us.”

Meanwhile, actor Faisal Qureshi has expressed anger and sadness over the artists who did not attend the funeral of Aamir Liaquat Hussain. Faisal Qureshi shared the story on Instagram and wrote that this world is limited to social media only. Dead or alive, just put the status.
The actor lamented the status quo and said, “I don’t attend anyone’s funeral or mourning but write on social media to get in the news so that it can be published.”
Faisal Qureshi said that it was very sad to see that Amir Liaquat did a lot for those who were not present at his funeral prayers.
He wrote that those who were not in the city were not in question, but for those who did not come to the funeral prayers of Amir Liaquat Hussain even though they were in Karachi, that is all that this world means.
