The year 2020 is coming to an end but the coronavirus pandemic has not been eradicated yet.
Coronavirus is continuously spreading its wings across the world with about 70 million confirmed cases in 190 countries and more than 1.5 million deaths.
The virus has spread around the planet, affecting billions of people.
Recently, Pakistani actress Sanam Jang and her four-year-old daughter have also been infected by the pathogen.
Using social media to share the news with her fans and followers, the star announced that she was currently in isolation and facing symptoms that were thankfully not very serious.
“I would like to inform all my well-wishers that I have tested positive for Covid-19,” she posted. “My daughter and I have been in complete isolation and thankfully, Alhamdulillah, have no severe symptoms.”
Actress Mahira Khan also took to social media on Sunday to announce that she has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Journalist Ansar Abbasi also fell victim to the novel coronavirus. His son Qasim Abbasi said in a message on the microblogging site Twitter that his father had been shifted to the hospital due to deteriorating health.
Everyone please pray for my father @AnsarAAbbasi. He was recently diagnosed with covid-19. Spent better first 5 to 6 days now admitted in hospital. Request everyone to pray for his quick recovery. Allah save us all from every disease. Ameen.
