Dania Shah faces online criticism after posting vlog on darbar visit

Dania Shah, the third wife of late televangelist Aamir Liaquat Hussain, has faced severe criticism online after her vlog on a darbar’s visit in Dera Ghazi Khan was posted on social media.

Through her vlog, she tried to give a message that she went to a darbar in DG Khan to pray for the departed soul of Aamir Liaquat Hussain.

After Hussain’s death, her mother claimed that her daughter was a widow of the late television host, whereas, Dania Shah claimed to be spending the day of iddat – a period spanning about four months after the separation between a married Muslim couple or death of the husband.

It is important to mention here that Shah had filed for divorce with Hussain and hurled allegations against him besides leaking private videos. She was also sought by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) cybercrime wing following the complaint of her ex-husband.

Her vlog covered her journey to the darbar in a car but it started a debate online regarding her iddat period.

Another user asked netizens not to promote her videos. “She wants people like her videos but pls ignore her… shame on YOU daniya.”
