Turkish drama series Ertugrul has been the leading Twitter trend in Pakistan. The final episode of the famous drama series will be airing tonight in the country.

The famous Turkish drama serial Ertugrul, which started airing in Pakistan on the suggestion of Prime Minister Imran Khan will be airing the final episode of famous tv series on the Pakistan Television Network (PTV). On this occasion, it is top trending on Twitter in Pakistan.

It has been dubbed in Urdu by the state-owned television on the directives of Imran Khan who believes that the show will help boost Islamic culture and values among young people in the country.

The drama was broadcasted on PTV in May this year coinciding with the coronavirus lockdown in Pakistan.

The show is based on the life of Muslim warrior Ertugrul Ghazi, the father of Osman-I, who founded the Ottoman Empire. It was first aired in Turkey in 2014 and was later introduced to the international audience via Netflix. It has also been dubbed in different languages across the world.

It is interesting to mention that billions of dollars worth of gold have been recently discovered in the Turkish city of Sogut, the burial site of Ertugrul Ghazi.

According to a report of the Turkish News Agency, billions of dollars’ worth of gold has been discovered in the city of Ertugrul Ghazi. This has been confirmed by the head of Turkey’s agricultural sector and credit corporates, Fahrettin Poyraz.
