Farhan Saeed criticises preferences of Pakistani nation, media

Farhan Saeed

Farhan Saeed, the well-known singer and actor in Pakistan’s showbiz industry criticised the preferences of the Pakistani nation and media.

In a Twitter thread, Farhan Saeed wrote, “I am so confused, desperate, heart broken, probably everything that a patriotic Pakistani is feeling for past few months now. Who are we? Where do we live in? Jungle?”

“Instead of talking about the economy, the power, the gas, GDP, debts, terrorism, pollution, the population…! What are we talking about, what is our priority? Leaked videos? Audios? Who is being thrashed by people while walking on streets?”

Saeed further said, “Sadly we as a nation have started enjoying the misery , we also enjoy seeing people in distress which is the lowest level for anyone to be . We can make anything controversial in support of a political leader.”

“I am sorry but we are failing to act like a nation, sitting in front of a tv and cheering for Pakistan’s cricket team once in 2 years doesn’t make you a nation.”

“Wake up, do your bit , raise your voice if you feel there’s something wrong, clean your surroundings , follow the law and be nice to your fellow countrymen and to your country,” said the singer.

In another thread, he said, “My last tweet(s) didn’t go well with few ppl & I know why, any suggestion is either that side or this side, what we need to create is OUR side. “Pakistan Side” which unfortunately doesn’t exist right now. Don’t criticise, give solutions, talk about the core issues.”

“And that’s exactly how you become a Nation, I did not pin point any particular party but the fact our main slots & anchors are talking about “Takhte Punjab”&“Tosha” is not ok! It is NOT. My bad, I waited for someone to speak up, well guess what we all have to, it’s now or never.”

“Thank you #QuaidEAzam and we are sorry! But till the last breath working for this country is my promise , I know we have it in us and most Pakistanis do. We will make you proud , I and all of us are sorry because we couldn’t yet! Which we should have!”
