WEB DESK: Pakistan’s famous film director Nabeel Qureshi has won the award for best music video in the Miami Short Film Festival.
The award has been given on direction of song titled ‘Ki Jana’ which revolves around honor killing.
Miami Film Festival promotes short films up to 20 minutes to encourage music directors from all over the world.
The Baba Bulleh Shah poetry has been was sung by Shani Arshad.
The music video ‘Ki Jana’ was nominated for the music video category of two award shows including Miami Short Film Festival and Bucharest Film Awards.

Nabil Qureshi began his professional career by directing commercials and TV programs.
He made his feature film debut in 2014 with ‘Na Maloom Afrad’.

Since then he has directed successful films like ‘ Na Maloom Afrad 2’, ‘Actor in Law’ and ‘Load Wedding’.
Nabeel Qureshi has currently finished shooting of upcoming film ‘Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad’.
