In September last year, a debate on using the name of the country’s founder for commercial activity started which led to a survey conducted by Khaleej Times.
In a survey conducted by Khaleej Times on its social media platforms, most participants say ‘yes’ to the move but suggest that the government should consider ‘Jinnah Airline’ for the new carrier instead of ‘Fly Jinnah’.
About 950 survey participants on Khaleej Times twitter and LinkedIn platforms said there is no harm in using the name of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, father of the nation, for commercial activity.
