Golden Man of Islamabad regrets meeting ‘wrong man’ Hamza Shahbaz

Ehsan Kazmi aka Golden Man of Islamabad has expressed his 'biggest regret' to meet the 'wrong man' Punjab CM Hamza Shahbaz and now he wants to meet PTI chief Imran Khan.

Ehsan Kazmi aka Golden Man of Islamabad, who brings peculiar street art of living statues to Pakistan, has expressed his ‘biggest regret’ to meet the ‘wrong man’ Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz and now he is willing to personally meet ex-PM and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan.

In a recent interview with ‘The Press’, he said that he felt regret to meet Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Punjab CM Hamza Shahbaz and received his autograph on his shirt. The Golden Man said that he is facing public outrage on the streets and everywhere after meeting Hamza Shehbaz.

Kazmi aka Golden Man said that everybody here in Islamabad is a supporter of Imran Khan and they kept humiliating him for meeting a ‘wrong man’ Hamza. He added that he now wants to personally meet Imran Khan. Kazmi said that after facing public outrage, he will never repeat the same mistake of getting an autograph on his shirt.

The street artist asked Imran Khan to invite him and give the title of Golden Man to him.

In May, Ehsan Kazmi met Punjab CM Hamza Shahbaz and presented a gift and a hat to him. He said that he earned his living by becoming a ‘Golden Man’ for the sake of his siblings.

At the request of the Golden Man, Hamza Shahbaz also gave his autograph on his shirt. Taking to Instagram, the Golden Man shared the details of his meeting with Hamza Shahbaz.

Hamza Shehbaz praised Muhammad Ehsan and offered him to display his talent anywhere in Punjab and ensured he will not be stopped from exhibiting his talent in public.

Originally from Karachi, Ehsas travelled to Islamabad several months ago to find employment but failed before choosing the street art of living statues.

Golden Man has been gaining popularity ever since Islamabad’s deputy commissioner, Hamza Shafqat, posted his photo on social media last week and gave him special permission to perform around the city.
