Amid the huge surge in coronavirus cases in India, Bollywood stars are escaping the current crisis and this made actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui rebuked their flippant attitude.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui, known for his role in Raat Akeli Hai, lashed out at Bollywood celebrities who are posting their holiday pictures on social media at an hour when India is decaying.
In an interview, the actor maintained that celebrities have ‘no shame’ as they are having whale of a time at beaches while the country suffers.

“People are dying of hunger due to worst economic crisis and celebs are wasting money, have some shame”, the actor lambasted.
“But what else will they talk about? Acting? They will run out of steam in two minutes”, he added.
Nawazuddin expressed his frustration over the members of the fraternity and expressed that covid-19 cases are multiplying, suffering is visible everywhere and as entertainers, in the country, we need to grow up.
While commenting on a question he said, “I am in my home town Budhana with my family. That’s my Maldives.”
As per sources, a number of celebrities including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Jhanvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani among others flew to Maldives amid the worst coronavirus situation in India.
On the other hand, actor Akshay Kumar donated Rs 10 million to Gautam Gambhir Foundation to help those who are battling with coronavirus.

Additionally, actor Salman Khan stepped out to help frontline workers and distributed meals to them across Mumbai.
Under the initiative, each day the foundation is able to serve food to more than 5,000 people including frontline workers and impoverished people.

Salman Khan had started a “Being Haangryy” van last year during pandemic to distribute meals in the city.
