Maheen Khan penned down the tweet after Minar-e-Pakistan incident with Tiktoker Ayesha Akram who was assaulted by nearly 400 men on independence day.
Not only the designer but several other celebrities became vocal against the incident and it seems like the fraternity is losing its faith in the PTI-led government.
Actress Mahira Khan had written, “I cannot believe what I just saw!! I have said it before and I will say it again- make an example out of these men”.
Another actress Mansha Pasha reflected that contrary to claims of women protection, the reality in Pakistan is that a woman gets molested by 400 men on independence day amid the Azaan (call to prayer) was underway.
Singer Farhan Saeed penned down, “Ashamed of being a man today, ashamed that the men of this country keep doing these horrible acts every other day, ashamed that the law of my country does not hang these predators so that this doesn’t happen again”.
Several fraternity members had expressed their rage over the incident.
Ive been mulling over what to write after this mob groping video surfaced on the net today from Minar E Pakistan💔. Kahan reh gya hamara adab, ihteram, shirafat, haya? Kaise 400 admion ne 1 aurat ko mazak bana dia? Ye kon log hain jin ki haiwaniat khatam he nahi hoti?
