However, Actor Osman Khalid Butt, the lead beside Ayeza, responded to the word on street and refused the notion of another season yet.
“If the writer is inspired to write a sequel and the channel’s content heads approve, only then we will get to know, as actors, if anything is happening,” the actor said.
On the other hand, Ayeza Khan, in a live session on Instagram, announced that after Chupke Chupke, she is going to take another project on Hum TV named Laapata.
The actress had hinted at appearing again on Hum television but the fans mistook it as the announcement of the sequel of super-hit Chupke Chupke.
The comedy drama serial, aired during Ramazan, emerged as a hit and topped ratings and trends on social media.
The serial remained popular than parallels on other channels and Ayeza Khan’s star power could be one of the reasons behind it.
Its plot revolved around the love story of two poles apart people and Tum Kaun Piya actress appeared in a strikingly different role and she somehow changed her sense of style for the character ‘Meenu’.
The star cast of Chupke Chupke that includes Mira Sethi, Asma Abbas, Uzma Beg, Ali Safina, and Salman Sheikh aka Mani also remained an obvious reason behind its success.
