Marvel Studios announced a project Ms Marvel that is set in Karachi and the cast includes Bollywood actor and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar instead of a number of shining stars available from Pakistan to represent their hometown.
Indian actor Farhan Akhtar is reportedly in Bangkok, filming for the sequence in Ms. Marvel that is set in Karachi, Pakistan.

Farhan Akhtar is filming for a project by Marvel Studios Ms Marvel in Bangkok, Thailand as reported by Times of India and India Today.
“Confirming the news, a source close to the development said that Farhan is currently stationed in Bangkok, along with an international cast and crew for the shoot of a project with Marvel Studios. All other details of the project are strictly under wraps”.
Two years back, Marvel Studios had announced a project based on the first Muslim superhero Ms Marvel and also the first to have her own comic series.

The series will hit the screens in late 2021 and shooting of some parts was expected to take place in Thailand.

Sharmeen Obaid will co-direct the series alongside Adil El Arbi, Bilall Fallah, and Meera Menon, meanwhile, the lead role is to be performed by a Pakistani-American teenager Iman Vellani.

“The “Ms. Marvel” series will be the screen debut of the 18-year-old who was born to Pakistani immigrants. Vellani will also be featured in “Captain Marvel 2,” the upcoming sequel to “Captain Marvel”, reported by Arab News.
The series will be coming to streaming platform Disney+ in late 2021.
