Questioning the acting skills of debutant Azaan Sami Khan, Sadaf Haider wrote, “Ok so if such premium scripts are available why are skilled experienced actors forced to repeat the same old stereotypical roles & mediocre stories Why not use these new guys ? All the blame usnt on Azaan its on Producer & Director who put him in line of fire too”

Another said, “Unpopular opinion but supreme actresses like Sajal Aly and Yumna deserved better Male lead than Azaan Sami. Such a heartwrenching scene happened at the end of the episode but his energy was the same as someone who is annoyed by petrol price hike. Couldn’t feel the pain”

Zainab Qayoom wrote, “Channels today dictate & give the cast green light. Big ad sponsors want big names so the channel with their marketing dept decides according to that demand. Producers have now become mere puppets & directors can’t select but are GIVEN a cast to work with however best they can.”
