Johnny Depp Lost His Case Against British Newspaper

WEB DESK: Captain Jack Sparrow’s lead hero Johnny Depp sued a libel suit against a British newspaper last year. The actor claimed that the newspaper was defaming him by labeling the actor as ‘wife-beater’.

However, Depp lost this case as Judge Andrew Nicole confirmed the accusations made by the newspaper. He added that the actor has repeatedly hit her wife during the course of five years of their marriage. While dismissing the case, he said that the defendants had proven what they published was ‘substantially true’.

Earlier, in 2016, Amber Heard, ex-wife of Johnny Depp had filed a case against her husband for domestic violence. Later in 2017, the couple parted ways.
