WEB DESK: Goa administration has demanded Bollywood’s star producer Karan Johar to extend an apology for littering after the shooting of film was over.
Goa Waste Management Minister Michael Lobo on Wednesday said that the notice will be issued as the film crew allegedly dumped waste on the beach during their shoot, sparking a controversy against the production house.
Residents of Goa uploaded pictures of littered sites on social media which highlighted the issue.
Lokhancho Ekvott , a group working for Goa’s environment, demanded an apology from the production house and if it didn’t , Ekvott announced to file a case in Mumbai High Court.
An ultimatum of two days has been given to submit apology and in case of refusal, Lokhancho Ekvott will dump all litter outside the residence of Karan Johar in Mumbai.
