The young visual artist and the daughter of classical folk singer Attaullah Esakhelvi, Laraib Atta and her team have been nominated for Oscar and British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards following their brilliant work on James Bond film No Time to Die.

This was announced by Laraib Atta on social media that her work for the last James Bond flick bagged Oscar and BAFTA nominations in ‘Best Visual Effects Category’

The young visual artist thanked her supporters that hailed her to the nominations of Oscar, BAFTA. She also thanked her brother Sanwal and mother for being her guiding force.

Her Facebook post read, “We have been nominated for #bafta and #oscar for No Time to Die – and here are the vfx breakdowns. Well done everyone at #dneg it was an honour being part of my favourite 007 franchise.”

The daughter of Attaullah Esakhelvi, Laraib had started working for Hollywood at the age of 19 in major projects including Godzilla, X-Men: Days of Future Past, and Mission: Impossible – Fallout.
