Liam Payne gave The One Show viewers a glimpse into his family life with Cheryl and her son Bear on Thursday night.

The normally private star was on the BBC show promoting her latest single from the upcoming Disney film Ron’s Gone Wrong.

While talking about a chicken that was featured in the music video for his new song Sunshine, the 28-year-old offered presenters Gethin Jones and Samantha Quek a humorous anecdote about an incident that occurred shortly after filming.

“I went to Cheryl’s to see Bear the following week,” admitted the former One Direction star.
“Can you guess the name of the chicken you brought to see my son?” Liam asked the BBC presenters.

“The chicken’s name was Nugget,” she revealed, and the hosts Gethin and Samantha were surprised by the response.
“Fortunately it didn’t click, which I thought was great,” the father of one child continued with his story.

“But that was a little awkward, wasn’t it?” The presenters of
The One Show later asked the singer if his son had seen his new film.

Liam admitted that the young man has not yet made the film but plans to invite his only son to a private screening.

“We were actually discussing this,” the star replied to the moderators of the show.

“It’s going to be his first real movie experience. I would love to take him to the premiere, but I don’t want him to go crazy because these are pretty hectic days.”

The caring father continued, “We have a private show that we go to with all the kids, my nieces and nephews, but I mean, it’s one of the perks of the job, isn’t it?

” Working with Disney [gives you] almost extra dad points. ”

Liam later revealed that the young bear is very“ turned on ”and may recognize his father’s voice in the animated film.

The star admits that he used a deliberate style of voice in some scenes to see if his son is “twig” that he is behind the character.
