The versatile actress Sonya Hussyn shared some glimpses from her upcoming project that drew the attention of netizens who think that she seems inspired by Mahira Khan.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Sonya revealed that she will be playing the role of a female police officer as SP Sara Sikandar in Umera Ahmed’s script.

Sonya said most of the time, female police officers are unbelievably underrated for their strength and they deserve more representation.
Using victory emoticon she wrote, “It gives me great honor to be announcing my next disposition, SP Sara Sikandar”.
The internet users were excited to see the new look of Sonya Hussyn while some of them even linked up her to Mahira Khan.
Mahira Khan will be playing Pakistan’s first female three-star General, Nigar Johar, who is the first woman in the history of Pakistan to be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-General.
The drama serial is scheduled to be aired on October 23 on ARY Digital at 8 pm.
