Mahira Khan expresses happiness as ‘Aik Hai Nigar’ wins Septimius Awards
Mahira Khan has expressed happiness after her telefilm Aik Hai Nigar won the Best Asian Film Trophy at the Septimius Awards.

Mahira Khan has expressed happiness after her telefilm Aik Hai Nigar based on the life and career of Pakistan’s first female three-star general Lieutenant General Nigar Johar won the Best Asian Film Trophy at the Septimius Awards.
Mahira Khan was also nominated for Best Asian Actress category in the Septimius Awards for her work in Aik Hai Nigar.
She wrote on Instagram, “This has been long over due.. there are so many people I need to thank and am grateful to, for this small labour of love we made – Aik Hai Nigar.”

The Septimius Awards was held on the 6-7th of June 2022. On the 6th of June the Panel Discussions (Monday) and on the 7th of June the Award Ceremony (Tuesday) 2022 Amsterdam The Netherlands.
The Septimius Awards is a prestigious award ceremony, with a strong emphasis on discovering and encouraging new independent talent, supporting visionary films and bringing together all elements of film-making and storytelling, which includes fiction, non-fiction, animation, television series and scripts. It also showcased a wide range of genres from Drama to Documentary. The award ceremony has a wide range of attendees which include Emmy and Oscar winners such as Christopher Hampton and Kevin Willmott.
The primary objective of the Septimius Awards is to promote and encourage awareness, appreciation and understanding of the film in all genres.
Its mandate is to present the most outstanding films produced in every part of the world. Films and projects are selected on the basis of quality and originality. It selects films from Asia, Africa, Oceania, Europe and America.
