“Home is not a safe place for everyone. Together, we can help free those harmed by domestic and sexual violence”, she wrote.

Back in 2017, Mahira Khan played the leading role in Shoaib Mansoor’s Verna opposite Haroon Shahid, Zarrar Khan, and Naimal Khawar.

The script revolves around a couple’s married life which falls apart when the wife (Mahira) was kidnapped and raped while defending her sister-in-law (Naimal Khawar).
