Mahirah Khan Plays Female Three Star General In Upcoming Telefilm

This independence day brings glad tidings for the fans of Mahirah Khan as the actress revealed playing the role of Pakistan’s first female Three-star General in an upcoming telefilm Aik Hai Nigar.

Mahirah Khan is famous for her unconventional roles and exceptional acting skills and now she is all set to grip the viewers with her role in the telefilm.

The actress will be playing Pakistan’s first female Three-star General, Nigar Johar, of the Pakistan Army which she disclosed through her social media.

Mahirah Khan expressed that she feels honored to play the woman she admires a lot.

“What a life, what a story… to know her, is to know one of the greatest we have amongst us”, she penned down.

Notably, Nigar Johar is the first woman in the history of Pakistan to be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-General.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has also released a trailer for the upcoming telefilm.

Apart from the actress, other artists including Bilal Ashraf will be part of the telefilm that is written by Umera Ahmed.

Earlier, actress Sanam Baloch had played the lead role in a telefilm on the life of Maryam Mukhtar, Pakistan’s first fighter pilot. 

Flying Officer Maryam Mukhtiar was on her training flight on November 24, 2015, when her plane crashed near Mianwali and she embraced martyrdom.
