Sajjad Ali sung ‘Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai’ in a latest video and paid tribute to Gulzar and Lata Mangeshkar
The prince of Pakistani pop music, Sajjad Ali, has once again proved his tenacity as he sang ‘Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai’ written by Indian Lyricist Gulzar and originally sung by legendary sisters-singers Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle.
The 54-year-old singer has contributed tremendously in the music industry of Pakistan with numerous hits over the years, ranging from Tum Naraz Ho to Har Zulm.
The song ‘Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai’ is a story of two sisters and their love-hate relationship.
The story of the song revolves around siblings Kalyani and Ketki, who share a soulful bond and for whom music meant everything.
Sajjad Ali took to his social media accounts, Twitter and Instagram, and paid tribute to the legends, Indian lyricist Gulzar and Indian playback singer Lata Mangeshkar.
