Actress Hira, actor Mani, senior actress Gul Rana and other staff were engage in mirroring in Jamshed Quarters, Armed men attacked and harassed women, robbed mobile phones and devices, case registered, 3 accused arrested
During the filming of director Nabeel Qureshi’s play in Jamshed Quarters in Karachi, hundreds of people allegedly attacked the house and looted mobile phones and valuables.
Well-known actress Haramani, actor Mani, senior actress Gul Rana were also present on the set. The artists had to be confined in the room to save their lives. Police and Rangers rescued the artists and staff on the spot.
Director Karnabil Qureshi while giving the details of the incident addressed to actor Mani, actress Hara Mani and actress Gul-e-Rana and wrote that “We were attacked during shooting in PIB Colony/Jamshed Quarter Martin Road, hundreds of people entered the house. , they harass women/actresses, misbehave with staff, steal mobile phones, stuff”.

He said, “We are sitting here in the PIB police station. To be honest, this has never happened before in Karachi. They were armed, they stole mobile phones and purses. They did not care about women. Raise your hands.”
Nabeel Qureshi said, “We want Sindh Police and Sindh Rangers to take strict action against these people and make an example of this case. Addressing Mani and Hira, he said, “I request all the actors and producers of our community. That they make sure that this does not happen to any of us again”.

Reacting to the incident in her Instagram story, actress Hara Mani wrote, “I witnessed a very unfortunate incident today and I hope and pray that such an incident does not happen to anyone in my life.”
She said that I want to thank my team members who fought the miscreants till the end and ensured our safety and are currently in a very bad condition in the hospital. The actress also requested prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured team members. of
The showbiz industry has expressed extreme anger over the incident that happened with director Nabil Qureshi and his team.

Actress Mahira Khan wrote in her tweet that “I can’t believe it, who is responsible for it, who is responsible for it”.
Responding to Mahira Khan’s comment, Nabeel Qureshi wrote, “I still can’t believe it, I’m still in shock that we had 6/7 year old children and Hira used to plead with them from inside the door. As if they weren’t listening, they broke the door! It’s very disturbing.”

Actress Sajal Ali said that “I hope that you all will be safe, but this is terrible, strict action should be taken by the authorities against these criminals”.

Director Furqan Siddiqui inquired about Nabeel Qureshi about the place of the incident, to which Nabeel Qureshi said that “This incident is located behind Noori Baba’s shrine in Jamshed Quarters”.
Furqan Siddiqui said in his tweet that “artists and staff were attacked in Jamshed Quarters police station limits in Karachi.” The attackers were neighbors of whom 3 have been arrested and an FIR has been registered.”
Addressing Murtaza Wahab, he said, “This is a cause of great concern for our community. We hope that they will be dealt with strictly.”
