Muniba Mazari Aspires to Change ‘Perfect Bride’ Concept

Muniba Perfect Bride Saancha

National Ambassador for United Nations (UN) Women Pakistan, Muniba Mazari collaborated in a campaign titled Saancha with a Lahore –based designer Ana Ali’s Lajwanti, and challenged standards by the society on ‘perfect desi bride’.

The campaign has been filmed by Abdullah Haris along with Iman Shahid, Mehar Bano, Ramina Maripova, and Hira Asim as co-models.

Besides Muniba, Pakistani Actress Reema Khan shared the video of the campaign and knocked her followers to hear a story that will always be remembered.

Soon after the video was released on social media, Pakistani actress-model Sana Javed admired her gorgeous look.

Apart from Sana, the squash player and sports activist Noorena Shams commented ‘beautiful’ while wishing the motivational speaker ‘good luck’.

Moreover, Pakistani actress Hiba Bukhari also gave a ‘thumbs up’ on initiative taken by Muniba Mazari.

Muniba Mazari was born in a Balochi family on March 3 in 1987 in Rahim Yar Khan. She was married to Khurram Shahzad, a former Pakistan Air Force (PAF) official in December 2005.

However, in 2007, the couple met a dreadful accident that made the 20-year-old humanitarian lost both legs.

Unfortunately, even after spending two years in the hospital bed, Muniba was told by the doctors that she would remain wheelchaired rest of her life.

More worst has yet to come as her husband filed a divorce in 2015 and sued Rs10 million for distorting facts about their relationship.

The plot about the perfect bride Saancha campaign has been narrated by Muniba which verses revolve around her life and focuses on all struggles and pain she went through before recovering.
