In separate tweets, Jamil wrote, “It’s an ugly word and an even uglier truth. Male child prostitution. I have no idea what to call it in Urdu. But I use the word because it describes the mindset. Children are used as playthings for pleasure. A truly ugly truth.”

While responding to a tweet, she said, “I did. Now I will pick the person who works. And whose cabinet isn’t full of tareef karoing chamchas [flattery people]. That’s going to be a tough call. I don’t see any such person.”

“Do u really thing people who ignore little boys being raped (bachabazi) & ignore children begging, children working as servants in homes, why would such morally corrupt people give a toss about corruption? As long as we ignore human right abuses against children we are all zombies,” she wrote in another reply.

She urged the rulers, “More than the laws, we need to focus on enforcing those [laws] right now….”

Nadia Jamil said, “I would pick a leader who works.Whose vision is supported by Implementation. Whose cabinet is knowledgeable/committed.Who knows hw 2 delegate honestly based on MERIT & who has the selfworth 2 choose wisely 2 get a job done.Whose passionate about leading kids 2 a powerful Pakistan.”

“Whose agenda is a decent Pakistan, educated Pakistan? A Pakistan where Bachabazi, begging, child labour, is an abnormal perverted crime. A Pakistan where we are all, civil society, media, government, Army working 2 protect higher values of humanity, peace & happiness 4 EVERY single CHILD”

“There are politicians in every party who hv & are working 4 the safety & well being of children. Why do they not hv more power? Where is their name on TV? Their work shld be encouraged & given priority. A real leader doest need a spotlight. I salute the worker bees in every party,” said the actor.
