This is the third time when TikTok has been banned in the country within two years
The marriage of TikToker Hareem Shah brought bad luck for the video-sharing application TikTok as it has been banned once again in Pakistan by Sindh High Court (SHC).
The TikTok users were spellbound by learning about the sudden marriage of Hareem Shah when they discovered they would no more be able to access the application that has been blamed for spreading vulgarity and promoting content inconsistent with local culture.
This is the third time when TikTok has been banned in the country within two years.
SHC has said that the app would remain suspended until at least July 8, the next date of hearing.

Meanwhile, as the clock is ticking, the marriage of Hareem Shah is getting more mysterious as she has buttoned her lips regarding the name of her husband.
All Hareem confirmed was that she has married a provincial minister of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) who is elder than her and lives in Karachi.
She also disclosed that they would travel to Turkey for their honeymoon.
Soon after Hareem Shah’s brief interview was telecasted, the ministers of the Sindh government are being gazed at skeptically.
The TikTok star had shared a picture of the engagement ring and speculations started steaming.
The photo was captioned as “Thanked God’ with no further details and was deleted later.
The journalists and politicians are pulling the legs of different provincial ministers who are compelled to show their wristwatches as a litmus test to prove their innocence.
PPP leader Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah rejected the claims of being Hareem Shah’s ‘undisclosed’ husband as asserted by the opposition leader in the Sindh assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh and other PTI provincial leaders.
Even the brother of adviser to the Sindh chief minister poked fun at Murtaza Wahab after the marriage saga.

Hareem Shah had remained closely associated with ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders.
But the celebrity came under public scrutiny after her TikTok video recorded in the Foreign Office with Indian music in the background went viral on social media.
Since then, she distanced herself from PTI and finally solemnized marriage with a PPP leader.
Notably, Hareem Shah has been the talk of the town for her controversial comments and videos with renowned personalities including Mufti Qavi, Farooq Sattar, and Sheikh Rasheed.
In March this year, she had disclosed her developing infatuation with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto.
