Pakistani actress Nausheen Shah and designer Umar Sayeed engaged in a heated spat on social media when the actress voiced her frustration against the pressure of getting married.
The actress has deflated her anger against thrumming marriage reminders by society over and time again.
While taking to the Instagram story, Nausheen penned down her frustration and lambasted Pakistani mothers.
“This happens only in this [expletive] country if you are not married, your mother will remind you every day. Shaadi kerlo shaadi kerlo nhi kerne shaadi bhai maaf kerdo Jaan chordo [‘Get married, get mrried I don’t want to get married, leave me be],” she wrote.

The post stood out on social media and designer Umar Sayeed commented on it.
The designer penned down his view that when people do not get married despite their best efforts, then this is what has to be said.
Whereas, Nausheen Shah in response to the comment accused Umar Sayeed of being gay.
“Now you will tell me what to say and when to stop. You sleep with men”, she wrote.
The actress also requested the designer to think before speak.
The unproductive recrimination ended in nothing as Nausheen condemned Umar Sayeed over his comment while she passed demeaning remarks for the society herself.
