Dramas in Pakistan have seen an era of success but long ago lost their true essence. Focusing more on weird and uncanny plots, most of the dramas are in limelight for all ill-reasons, and Oye Motti by Express Entertainment is one of them.

Oye Motti’s story revolves around a chubby girl whose weight proved to be an obstacle for her to tie the knot.

The chubby girl Aliya falls in love with a guy and they both got engaged, however, the climax came when the boy, after the exchange of rings, announced that he is not going to marry until his wife-to-be is going to shed her weight.

From the title to a number of dialogues, the play posses a lot of objectionable stuff.

With the claims that the drama is an effort to address the issues of overweight girls in Pakistani society, the title and the dialogues seemed offending.

Not only this, the promotional teaser for Oye Motti was produced in a way similar to Indian dramas.
