Pakistanis Fumed Over Sahir Lodhi For Doubting John Elia
Ever since video clip of the show surfaced on social media, viewers are down in the mouth and asking for a ban on the show for mistreating the contestant
Once a popular face of the morning shows Sahir Lodhi now appears to have been on the hit list of critics in Pakistan as he ill-treated a contestant during Ramazan Transmission and doubted the poetic mastery of John Elia.
Known for mistreating contestants on the show, Sahir this time went beyond limits and raised doubts on the poetry of one of the finest poets, John Elia.

This is not the only instance that the host came under fire for his discourteous attitude with the participants and now, netizens are demanding Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) to take action against him.

Usually, various celebrities host Ramazan transmissions on different channels and Sahir Lodhi is part of this prevailing trend too.
In a recent episode of his show, one contestant recited poetry by John Elia but the host, in a mocking way, cast doubt on it.
The contestant time and again insisted on the authenticity of the poetic verse but the host took an impolite course.
Additionally, the jury ridiculed the competitor too and made no effort to correct Sahir.
The judges, unaware of the meaning of that verse, questioned the partaker.
“What does that even mean?”, the panel asked as they found the verse grammatically incorrect.

Yaar this over smart @sahirlodhi should have the net available for his program,, first he has no knowledge of urdu poetry, secondly he is shattering the confidence of the boy.
