Phaans Noor Mukadam

The last episode of drama serial Phaans was aired yesterday and it seemingly depicted the real-life story of Noor Mukadam, the daughter of former ambassador to South Korea who was brutally killed in Islamabad.

The story of drama serial Phaans revolves around the rape of a maid’s daughter by an allegedly autistic male member of a family whose father tried to save him by proving his insanity in court.

Whereas, Noor Mukadam was severed by his childhood friend Zahir Jaffer whose family is trying to prove him mentally unstable as well.

As per details shared by police, Zahir was in his complete senses when arrested from the murder spot and he was completely aware of his actions.

Zahir Jaffer is the son of the owner of Jaffer Group of Companies and is serving as the Chief Brand Strategist for the organization.

It has been said that he is not mentally stable and had undergone psychological treatments for his mental health.

A portion of the story of Noor Mukadam was depicted in Phaans, where the accused tried to prove himself insane in the court to save his skin.

Pakistani dramas are often credited for portraying real-life stories and it seems like drama serial Phaans inadvertently sketched the scenario of Noor’s murder.

Notably, the daughter of the former Pakistani diplomat went missing in Islamabad and the police found her beheaded body from the residence of Zahir Jaffer who was arrested from the crime scene.
