The Mumbai Crime Branch has successfully apprehended two individuals in Gujarat’s Bhuj for their alleged involvement in firing shots outside the residence of Bollywood actor Salman Khan in Bandra West.

The incident occurred on April 14, and the suspects were caught late on Monday night.

According to officials, the accused had fled Mumbai after the shooting but were apprehended in Bhuj.

The two accused are identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, who will be brought to Mumbai for further investigation.

According to police, the shooting took place at 5 a.m. as it was a meticulously planned attack.

The CCTV footage outside the house captured one of the suspects firing toward Salman Khan’s residence, while both individuals discharged a total of four rounds before fleeing the scene on a motorcycle.

The accused concealed their identities with helmets during the incident.

Police swiftly responded by deploying ten teams of the crime branch outside Galaxy Apartments, where Salman Khan resides.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde personally contacted the actor to discuss the incident and suggested enhancing his security measures.

Indian gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the shooting on social media, warning Salman Khan that it was only the beginning.

Police suspected a connection between one of the accused and gangster Rohit Godara, who is based in the United States and is accused of the murder of businessman Sachin Munjal in Gurugram.

Salman Khan’s security level has been raised to Y-Plus since November 2022 due to threats from Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar.

Additionally, Khan has acquired an armored vehicle and has been authorized to carry a personal firearm for enhanced protection.
